Part-time Museum Shop Attendant

Function

Part-time (weekend) attendant position available immediately in the Museum Shop. Applicants must be able to work on Saturdays from 1:45–5:15 p.m., with occasional weekday and Sunday afternoons.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to museum and garden visitors.
Manage all sales transactions and conduct opening and closing shop procedures.
Restock merchandise and shop supplies as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Retail experience is desired, but not necessary.

Compensation

Pay rate is $9.00 per hour. Shop discount and admission to Dumbarton Oaks gardens included.
