Description
Typewritten letter discusses Anne Sweeney's travel dates, lodging, and other arrangements for upcoming visit to Reef Point, Bar Harbor, Maine. Informs Beatrix Farrand of Mildred Bliss's decision not to purchase a copy of, Phytanthoza iconographia as it is in poor condition with missing pages and her wish to spend money on books which Beatrix Farrand "considers more important for Dumbarton Oaks." Reports a package of books arrived from H.G. Fiedler which Anne Sweeny has not add to the book list yet and the book, The English landscape garden by H.F. Clark has arrived.
Copy of original letter, unsigned. Probably created by Anne Sweeney as she reports receiving a letter from Beatrix Farrand dated June 11, [1948] which was addressed to her discussing similar topics.
