Discusses plant lists for the 32nd Street wall and the walls in the Kitchen Gardens are enclosed; acknowledging the postponement of Beatrix Farrand's visit to Dumbarton Oaks; expresses the Dumbarton Oaks Conversations are still in session and garden tours on hold until delegates have departed and a list for Addisonia prints is now finished and filed. Mentions a leaflet from the McFarland Company on roses is also enclosed; leaflet no longer with letter.
Anne Sweeney states she doesn't know if Miss Jekyll's book on roses (probably, Roses for English gardens) has been ordered and that James Bryce did not recognize the shrub in the picture, possibly Spiraea.
