Hitchcock; Modern bird study by Ludlow Griscom; and Weeds of lawn and garden by John Milton Fogg, and those not yet received, Home and garden; Wood and garden both by Gertrude Jekyll; Index to North American ferns by Maurice Broun; Guide to the eastern ferns by Edgar Wherry; and First book of grasses by Agnes Chase. Anne Sweeney reports the gardens opened earlier due to an early Spring and in March there was a total of 6023 visitors; Beatrix Farrand not visiting Dumbarton Oaks this Spring; and requests $20.00 to buy prints for the Catalogue House.
