Typewritten letter discusses Anne Sweeney's upcoming travel possibly leaving July 9 or 10 to Reef Point, Bar Harbor, Maine. She will respond to Beatrix Farrand's letters about the visit and travel arrangements. Anne Sweeney mentions she will bring all book lists and a few plant cards to get approval from Beatrix Farrand.
A shipment of books from Henry G. Fiedler arrived at Dumbarton Oaks that has yet to be unpacked and the book, The English landscape garden by H.F. Clark arrived. The Dumbarton Oaks gardens will close to visitors June 27, 1948 until September.
