Description

Typewritten letter notifies Isabelle Stover of one more book received by Anne Sweeney at Dumbarton Oaks since last list sent. Anne Sweeney returns invoices from booksellers for books ordered. Invoices no longer with letter. She also sends an additional page listing books to be added to the current book list of those already at Dumbarton Oaks. She created the added list after consulting with Ethel Clark of the Rare Book Room.

Anne Sweeney reports on difficulties with her dentures after teeth extraction and on the turning of leaves signaling autumn.

Copy of original letter, unsigned. Probably sent by Anne Sweeney as she mentions she is sending a letter to Beatrix Farrand with the same information. The letter sent to Beatrix Farrand includes handwritten initials AS, B:AS 1947.10.07.

Title created by cataloger.
