Notes

A lovely script, disciplined but expressive, with tasteful ligatures and long, attractive descenders on the last line of most pages.

1r  By the title, in very small letters, “[number]° Barociano [sic], [8?]-12-6-13-a”.

Between folios 1 and 2 is inserted a later, unnumbered folio, in a small, fine hand, with a discussion and σύνταγμα κανονικόν of synodal resolutions &c., beginning in medias res (incipit «...-μένην, εἰ καί τινα μὲν αὐτῶν πρὸς μόνην τὴν ἐπιχώριον κίνησίν τε καὶ κατάστασιν...») and apparently breaking off before finishing (desinit «Θεοφίλου ἀρχιεπισκόπυ Ἀλεξανδρείας προφώνησις περὶ τῶν ἁγίων θεοφανείων : ~ Τοῦ...»).

2r  A large and flowing yet complex signature ranging across the breadth of the whole page, transcribed in very small letters beneath, «Κωνσταντῖνος, μητροπολίτης Ναυπάκτου καὶ Ἄρτης».  At the bottom of the page, after a large blank, «Ἔτι δὲ καὶ νομικαὶ ἐκλογαὶ ἐκ διαφόρων θεμάτων.»

201v  (The particular section) desinit «...τῶν ἀθεμάτων τι καὶ μεμισημένων τινὰ γάμων ἑλομένων.»  (The next work begins «Οἱ αἱμομίκται, εἴτε γονεῖς πρὸς τέκνα εἴτε τέ[κνα..., end of page]».)
