Notes

Puntoni 229 (olim III.H.1)

Many watermarks throughout.  (Paper?)

Letters not only by but also to Nazianzen (see 57 below, from Basil) and even to Basil (below).

First slide contains rectangular stamp "B.F." and seems to be mostly covered with a semi-diaphanous sheet of paper vel sim.

Folio numbers reported here are those on Ševčenko's original box for our film MOD.1.1.  Those on the ms. (lower left-hand corner of rectos) begin at 1. They seem to be written on the ms. itself, but that's uncertain: numbering for this particular work? (Num harum phototypiarum gratia?!)

From #57r of new numbering,

From #89v (new numbering) various letters of Libanius to Basil.

#121v and 123v (new numbering): Σαταλεῦσι Πολίταις

#179r (new numbering), much smaller writing in another hand: later commentary on epistles?

Κλπ, κλπ, κλπ.

MOD.1.3

Gregory of Nazianzus, Letters. (ff. 1r-56v)
Begins with the very end of ep. 163 (from Gallay's edition)
