Permission
Application for permission to reproduce a photograph must be made in writing to the appropriate department. “Dumbarton Oaks Research Library and Collection, Washington, D.C.” and year of copyright must be acknowledged in credits. Dumbarton Oaks does not grant exclusive rights.
Permission for publication is for 1 time/1 edition/1 publication use only. Further uses require separate application.
Payment and Delivery
Payment must be made in advance. An invoice from the order will be mailed with payment instructions. All postal/delivery charges will be added to the invoice. Orders take three weeks to complete from the time payment is received.
Dumbarton Oaks reserves the right at its discretion to decline to make available its photographs. Prices are subject to change without notice.
