Piero Vasconi (1885–1967) was an Italian photographer and a pioneer of photographic techniques. At the beginning of the twentieth century, he began photographing at the Villa d'Este at Lake Como in Cernobbio, and many of these images, taken with a Manzotti camera, he reproduced as postcards. In the 1920s, he opened a photography studio in Cernobbio, P. Vasconi - Fotomagazzino, where he collaborated with the lab technician Arturo Nessi.
