Post Card Exchange

Birmingham, Alabama, USA, 1909–1919 (Publisher, Vendor)

The Post Card Exchange started in 1909 as a postcard shop and lunch counter in Birmingham, Alabama. The store soon began publishing its own postcards, both of local and national sites. William H. Faulkner, the founder, expanded the scope of the store and ceased postcard publication in 1919, when the store was renamed Faulkner Novelties. The store operated until his death in 1946.
