Dear Robert.

As you are in Prague, do go to the picture galleryThe National Gallery, Prague. and see the Bohemian XIVe C. primitives, some of which are really good, and also to the Mus. of Applied Arts (Kunstgewerbe Museum)Museum of Decorative Arts, Prague. and see the XIVe C. illuminated MSS—only a few, but some of them have illuminations in which there prevails that lovely blue that delights the eye in the Wilton diptych. The Wilton Diptych, an English or French Gothic diptych (ca. 1395–1399) painted for Richard II of England. It is in the National Gallery, London.

Love to you both.
