Royall Tyler to Robert Woods Bliss, November 8, 1945

Hotel Richemond

Geneva

8 Nov. 45

Dear Robert.

I have received notice that the little payment has been made to my account. Many thanks.

I also received, a couple of days ago, a sweet little travelling clock, for which I’m much indebted to you.

Bill has been with me for ten days now, and is staying another three. It’s a great joy to pick up with him again. We had only had one day together since Feb. 1941!

It was angelic of you to come to see me. I enjoyed our hours together hugely. As you say, the intervals between our meetings must be kept short now.

Much love from Bill and myself to you and to Mildred, please.

Yours ever

Royall Tyler
