Vaticanus palatinus græcus 296.  15th-16th centuries.  Paper.  290 fols. after preliminary pages "numbered" with Roman letters.

Ἐφόδια τῶν Ἀποδημούντων (Viatica Medica Peregrinantium), translated from Hebrew into Greek by the incomparable Constantine Asyncritus of Rhegium: apparently Algizar's Viaticum (Ibn al-Jazzār [Ibn al-Jazzār al-Qayrawānī, Aḥmad ibn Ibrāhīm; also spelled al-Ğazzār], Stevenson "Emprubanzaphar Eben Elgizar"). Cf. also Scorialensis 364 (χ.ii.4) and Ihm nos. 131 and 287, and see entry in Stevenson (Bibliography and Online Resources) for more details.

Fol. 1r  «Περὶ φάσεως τριχῶν· δευτέρα πύλη. Τοῦ Ἰσσάκ.  Ἐστὶ δὲ εἶδος ἕτερον ἀπὸ τῆς πτώσεως τῶν τριχῶν· οὐ πολὺ δέ· συμβαίνει δὲ ἀπὸ τῶν πλείστων ὑποθέσεων· τὸ μὲν ἀπὸ τῆς ἐλαττώσεως τῆς τροφῆς...»  Ascription to Isaac underlined.

166v  Ἡ δευτέρα πύλη περὶ τοῦ αἵματος τοῦ κινουμένου ἀπὸ τοῦ ἥπατος. «Συμβαίνει ἡ κένωσις τοῦ αἵματος ἀπὸ τοῦ ἥπατος δι' αἰτίας πλείστας. Καὶ γίνονται τὰ εἴδη τοῦ κινουμένου αἵματος ἄλλ' ἐπ' ἄλληλα...»
