Translation

Κύριε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Ἰωάννῃ μοναχῷ τῷ Ξιφιλίνῳ.

Lord, help your servant John Xiphilinos, monk.

Commentary

Laurent points out that this could either be the future patriarch John VIII Xiphilinos, when he was a monk, or his nephew John Xiphilinos, the monastic homilist and intellectual. See also PBW : Ioannes 20797.
