Commentary

The obverse of this seal appears to be overstruck over a bust of a military saint. The remains of a second right hand holding a spear can be seen directly above St. Basil's hand offering a blessing, the remnants of a circular invocative inscription appear to be above the sigla on the right, and two separate borders of dots seem visible in the lower right portion of the obverse.
