Θεοτόκε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Νικήτᾳ βασιλικῷ (?) κανδιδάτῳ.
Theotokos, help your servant Niketas, imperial (?) kandidatos.
Commentary
The seal is heavily worn, rendering its reading uncertain. While we read the name on the reverse as Niketas, Nikephoros is also possible. We cannot be certain if there is room for the letter abbreviation before the title kandidatos.
