Translation
Κομνηνὸς Ἀνδρόνικος, ἐξ Εὐδοκίας πορφυροφυοῦς ἐκφυεὶς ῥίζης κλάδος, ἀνεψιὸς δὲ Μανουὴλ βασιλέος, υἱὸς Βατάτζου δεσπότου Θεοδώρου, ἐμὲ προΐστη κε λόγων καὶ πραγμάτων.
Andronikos Komnenos, distinguished by his birth and origin from Eudokia born in the purple, nephew of the emperor Manuel, son of the despotes Theodore Vatatzes, has set me over his words and acts.
