Commentary
The reverse Latin inscription on this seal is strange and short, and hence resistant to resolution. Zacos suggested that it may have been an attempt to create a Latin monogram of Georgius. Perhaps so, but that solution is a heavy load for two letters and an abbreviation mark to bear.
