Translation

Θεοτόκε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Γρηγορίῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ καὶ ἐπὶ τοῦ οἰκιακοῦ βεστιαρίου.

Mother of God, help your servant Gregory, imperial spatharios and epi tou oikeiakou vestiariou.

Commentary

The epi tou vestiariou was a subordinate of the protovestiarios whose responsibilities included supervision of the imperial apartments and the imperial wardrobe; cf. Oikonomides, Listes, 305.
