Commentary
The monastery of Nossiai was founded at a port town of this name by Leo VI in the year 912 on behalf of his favorite, Constantine the Paphlagonian, and was dedicated to Christ. The monastery was joined to the Pantokrator in 1136. Its subsequent history is unknown. Cf. Laurent, Corpus V/2, 191; Janin, Grands centres, 59.
