Δομέτιον μάγιστρον τὸν σὸν ἱκέτην σκέποις ... πρεσβίας.
Christ, may you protect your servant Dometios, magistros ....
Commentary
The inscription consists of two dodecasyllables which should be added to the collection assembled by Wassiliou-Seibt, Siegel mit metrischen Legenden, vol. 1. The reading of the second half is not clear. Laurent proposed "σκέποις Χριστὲ τῶν ὑφετίων πρεσβείας," but this does not conform with the letters visible.
