Ἰουλιάνου κουβικουλάριου.

(Seal of) Julian koubikoularios (?).

Commentary

The blank used for this seal was too small to contain the full monogram on either side; the obverse is still relatively legible and is reasonably certain, but the reverse is missing much of the left and bottom arms of the cruciform and is a educated hypothesis based on the apparent remains of a β on the left (that could double as a ρ) and the apparent slanting right bar of a Λ below, that in all likelihood is probably an α, especially in that position within the cruciform.
