The Virgin standing, nimbate, holding the Christ Child in her l. arm. Inscription in columns to her l. and r.: |ΘΕ|ΟΤΟ|ΚΕΒΟ|ΗΘ|Ι. Wreath border.

Cruciform monogram, reading Θεοῦ; in the quarters: ΧΑΙΣ. Wreath border.

χάρις Θεοῦ

Translation

Θεοτόκε βοήθει. χάρις Θεοῦ

Theotokos, help. Grace of God.

Commentary

This may be an amulet or jeton, as there does not seem to be a name, and the canal is seemingly merely for suspension of the item.
