John Padiotes (twelfth century)

St. John the Theologian dictating the Book of Revelations. He is standing, turning his head to the upper right. His right hand is extended towards Prochoros, who is seated and writing the text. Inscription: Ο|ΙΩ|ΟΘ|ΕΟ|Λ|Ο|Γ,. Ὁ Ἰωάννης ὁ Θεὀλογος. Border of dots.
