Θεοτόκε βοήθει Ἀγαπητῷ νοταρίῳ.

Commentary
The Σ may represent an abbreviation for σακελλίου, thus saying that this Agapetos is a notarios of the sakellion. However, whether it is an abbreviation for this or something else or merely a decoration cannot be determined.
The dating of this seal is not definite; the block monogram and lettering appear to be sixth century, but the disposition of the seal hints at a later date.
