Cf. Wassiliou-Seibt, Siegel mit metrischen Legenden I, no. 846 (wrongly, in our view, incorporating the epithet on the obverse into the reverse inscription); see also PBW: Andronikos 20143.

Translation

σφραγὶς Ἀνδρονίκου τοῦ Δούκα.

Seal of Andronikos Doukas.

Commentary

This seal was included in Wassiliou-Seibt's catalogue of metrical inscriptions, but we see it as a prose inscription. A metrical seal issued by an Andronikos Doukas, in all likelihood the same owner, is cited in this entry.
