Commentary
The saint on the obverse is perhaps St. Peter or St. Paul as the first letter of his name appears to be a Π. However, it is uncertain--especially as although the beard seems pointy (and therefore Pauline), it may actually be shorter and rounded, clouded by the wear of the seal.
