Translation

σφραγὶς Λέοντος ἥδε τοῦ Μαλοΐτου.

This is the seal of Leo Maloites.

Commentary

The family name Maloites is known only from lead seals (see also the related specimen, BZS.1955.1.4007). This seal and its parallel appear to belong to the last decade of the eleventh or the first decade of the twelfth century.
