Bust of St. Niketas holding the martyr's cross in his right hand. Traces of sigla on either side: .ν...τ : [ὁ ἅ(γιος)] Ν[ική]τ(ας). Border of dots.

Reverse

Inscription of four lines. Border of dots.

Translation

μάρτυς Χριστοῦ, φύλαττε τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Μιχαήλ.

Martyr of Christ, protect your servant Michael.

Commentary

Wassiliou-Seibt read the owner's name as Demanos, departing from Jordanov's reading of Michael on a parallel seal.

The inscription appears to be metrical, consisting of two seven-syllable hemistichs.
