Obverse

A patriarchal cross (x on the first tranverse bar) mounted on a base of three steps. Pearls adorn the ends of the transverse bars and the top of the cross. Fleurons rise on both sides. Along the circumference, within a border of dots, a circular inscription beginning at seven o'clock:

[Κύριε or Θεοτόκε βο]ήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ

Translation

Κύριε or Θεοτόκε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Εὐσταθίῳ μαγήστρῳ καὶ δρουγγαρίῳ τῆς Βίγλας.

Lord (or Mother of God), help your servant Eustathios, magistros and droungarios of the Vigla.
