Translation

Κύριε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Σεργίῳ ἐπισκόπῳ Δασκυλήου.

Lord, help your servant Sergios, bishop of Daskylion.

Commentary

Daskylion is thought to be the modern Eskali Liman or Hisartepe, to the east of the Rhyndakos. The bishopric, although a suffragan of Nikomedeia in all notitiae until the thirteenth century, was situated inside the theme of Opsikion: Janin, Grands centres, 80. See also Laurent, Corpus V/1, 279; Zgusta, 155-56.
