Translation

Ἀρχιστράτηγε βοήθει Κοσμᾷ μιτροπολίτῃ Νηκέας καὶ σύγκελως.

Commander of the heavenly hosts, help Kosmas, metropolitan of Nicaea and synkellos.

Commentary

This seal is edited jointly with another from the same boulloterion: BZS 1955.1.4844.

Note the syntactical inconsistency on the reverse; it is possible that the final ς is a mistake of the engraver and that the last word should be read as συγκέλῳ{σ} in the dative.
