Willgoose, Rose A.

Rose A. WIllgoose came to work at Dumbarton Oaks in the fall of 1948. She assisted Ethel Clark in the Founder's Room caring for rare books, until Clark's departure in late 1948. Beginning in 1949, Willgoose took charge of the rare book collection. She worked for Mildred Bliss and Beatrix Farrand in the building up of the Garden Library, and she assisted Anne Sweeney with library and office-related tasks.
