Description
Two typewritten alphabetical lists of books purchased by Beatrix Farrand for the Garden Library at Dumbarton Oaks. First two pages are a copy of an original list. Second two pages are a copy of the original with added typewritten information which includes an additional typewritten list of books, "Recd June 15, 1948 ..."
Mrs. Stover refers to Isabelle Stover, secretary for Beatrix Farrand at Reef Point.
List author is unknown. Possibly either Isabelle M. Stover or Anne Sweeney as they maintained lists of books purchased and to be purchased for the Dumbarton Oaks Garden Library. The final page contains a reference to books received June 15, 1948. Uncertain who typed additional list. List created and additions to list possibly made, June 1948.
