Description
Discusses the contents of a letter Beatrix Farrand received from Mr. Van Rensselaer about the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden and shifting Garden responsibility to Mr. Frederick B. Kellam.
The letter also discusses that Mr. Thacher has written to tell Beatrix Farrand that the Post War Security Conference (Dumbarton Oaks Conversations) closing date had to be postponed and that Dumbarton Oaks will be occupied until November 1, 1944. The Dumbarton Oaks Conversations took place at Dumbarton Oaks, August 21, 1944-October 7, 1944.
