Description
Typewritten letter acknowledges the receipt of two letters, April 21 and 23, 1947 from Beatrix Farrand and discusses the expense accounts for Dumbarton Oaks. John Thacher feels it wiser if the book account is turned over to Robert Patterson. He comments the Dumbarton Oaks Symposium went very smoothly feeling Dumbarton Oaks is now properly launched. The stone tiger is to return to Reef Point for which he is glad.
Copy of letter, unsigned. Probably created by John Thacher based on letters he acknowledged receiving from Beatrix Farrand.
