Description
Letter discusses the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden Board voted to make Beatrix Farrand, Consultant to the Botanic Garden, after receiving Beatrix Farrand's letter; requests that Robert Patterson notify Mildred Bliss when he is to visit Dumbarton Oaks; and asks for Beatrix Farrand's letter of Dumbarton Oaks Gardens problems be sent to Santa Barbara. Enclosed with letter was a news clipping that is no longer with letter.
Beatrix Farrand had sent to Mildred Bliss her Reef Point Bulletin which she felt was "good, so wisely, simply and thoroughly conceived."
