Description

Beatrix Farrand and her office staff created drawings for the layout and planting of the Fountain Terrace, also known as Terrace D during this time.

Partial view of Terrace E, also known later as Herb Garden and Arbor Terrace.

On verso: Typewritten label: "Fountain Terrace, general view, 1924-25" crossed out in pencil. Handwritten above label in pencil: "18.5b Fountain Terrace." Also handwritten: "Bliss, July 1924" [above the number 4 is a 5?]. Stamped in purple ink: "C40".
