Beatrix Farrand designed the tool houses in the Kitchen Gardens.
3 copies in collection.
On verso, Copy 1, 8 x 10 inches with white border. Typewritten label: "Kitchen Garden & tool houses, tool house"; Handwritten: "B-144", "Kitchen garden, tool house on upper level- W. Copy 2 is duplicate of 1, 7.5 x 9.5 inches, no border. Typewritten label: "Kitchen Garden & tool houses, tool houses"; Handwritten: "B-144, Dup.", "Upper level." Copy 3, 8.5 x 10 inches, white border. Typewritten label: "Kitchen Garden & tool houses, tool houses"; Handwritten: "#231 Cutting gardens and tool house."
Photographer probably Stewart Bros. Photographers based on handwritten #231, corresponding to their numbering system.
Taken between late-1920's and 1932 based when Stewart Bros. took photographs of the gardens and on other dated photographs showing the lead cisterns on either side of the tool house.
