Description

Three lead masks created for fountains from Beatrix Farrand designs and hung for consideration on the west wall of the swimming pool during the construction phase, 1926-1931.

None of the masks were used for the swimming pool. The river god head in the center was later used for the Herb Garden wall fountain. See GP 4-17.

Photograph possibly taken around 1931, based on date on back of similar photograph GP 42-33.
