Notes

Bodleianus Baroccianus 165.  (Madan Summary Catalogue no. 165 = old Bodley no. 1154.)  Bombycine paper, fifteenth century, 170 folios.  Miscellany of philosophical works, including Gemistus Pletho and Maximus Planudes' translation of Cicero's De Senectute (Περὶ Γήρως, whose editor Salantiro (ISBN 3322003604, page x) mistakenly calls this Oxoniensis 165).

For detailed list of contents, see Coxe's entry in Bibliography, which Wilson & Barbour leave untouched, except at §4 (for fols. 68sqq.), where they change "Zenedemum" to "Menedemum".

Fols. 25r-68r  Anonymi cujusdam commentarius in Aristotelis Posteriorum librum secundum. Does not at the time of this writing (July, 2012) seem to be in the TLG.

Scribe according to Πίνακες (see Online Resources) is Μιχαὴλ Λύγιζος (see Vogel & Gardthausen p. 315 in Online Resources and Repertorium der griechischen Kopisten nos. 1.282, 2.386, 3.465 in Bibliography).

For digital images of his penmanship, see Mus. Brit. Harleiani 1771 and 6322 at "Examples from the Scribe" in Online Resources.

See "Bodley: This Collection" in Online Resources for information including the Madan entry (labeled "Vol. 2 Part 1") and Coxe entry (given by column numbers).
