Condé Nast Publications, Inc.

Greenwich & NYC, 1909-present (Publisher)

Condé Nast, Inc. was established by Condé Montrose Nast when he purchased Vogue as a way of publishing the magazine. He added other types of magazines to his company, including House & Garden, and expanded internationally. Although his magazines covered a wide range of subjects, such as travel, fashion, home, and food, they were largely targeting the upper-middle class of society. After increasing publication throughout the 20th century, Condé Nast has continued to keep up with technology of the 21st century, acquiring the popular website Reddit and providing digital subscriptions.
