John Fulleylove

John Fulleylove (1845–1908) was an English landscape artist and illustrator. Born in Leicester, he originally trained as an architect with the local firm Shenton and Baker before becoming an artist in watercolors and oils. He exhibited widely in England beginning in 1871 at venues in London and in many other regional towns and cities. He became a member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours in 1879 and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters in 1883. Abroad, he painted in France, Italy, Greece and the Middle East. His watercolor illustrations appeared in several travel books, such as those by A & C Black.
