Nestlé Milk Chocolate

Switzerland, 1866–present (Distributor)

In 1866, Henri Nestlé (1814–1890) founded a company to manufacture milk for babies, using a "nest" logo to advertise. In 1905, the company merged with the Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Company, its former rival, and began manufacturing milk chocolate along with its dairy products. Soon it was importing globally and had offices in multiple countries. Through the twentieth century, it continued to diversify its products, including coffee, soups, and teas.
