Jimmie StewartJames Bolton Stewart (1882–1969), American diplomat who was U.S. consul general in Mexico between 1938 and 1940. who is going to Mexico City as Consul General, is just leaving for home, & I’m going to entrust to him, for you, quite a long letter.

I succeeded in taking a few days in Italy, & saw the sun & our friend in Rome.
