Contents: the Aphorisms of Hippocrates with a commentary on each one by Theophilus the Philosopher.
f. 1r: Title: Οἱ τοῦ Ἱπποκράτους ἀφορισμοὶ, ἐξήγησις Θεοφίλου Φιλοσόφου
Incipit: “ὁ βίος βραχύς, ἡ δὲ τέχνη μακρά....”
(Perhaps obvious but in the interest of completeness:)Hippocrates’ aphorisms are marked as κείμενον in the margins whereas Theophilus’ explanations are labeled διήγησις.
Each κείμενον and διήγησις begins with an ornamental capital.
Sections are marked with a small decorative header.
