The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th letters of Cortes with notes and additional material by Lorenzana.

Signatures: pi² [par.]-3[par.]² A² chi1 ²[par.]-4[par.]² B-5O²(-5O2) (pi1 and pi2 versos blank).

Maps: (1) Plano de la Nueva España ... dispuesto por J. A. de Alzate y Ramirez, 1769; (2) reproduction of map, representing the coast of the "Mar de el sur", designed by Domingo del Castillo, piloto, Mexico, 1541.

Between pages 176 and 177 are inserted [32] leaves, the first of which has a printed title on the recto: Cordillera de los pueblos ... (verso is blank). Following are [31] leaves of plates illustrative of a Mexican codex; the first 13 plates unnumbered, the remaining 18 plates are numbered 15-32.
