Translation
Κύριε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Ἰωάννῃ βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ έπὶ τοῦ ίδικοῦ λόγου.
Lord, help your servant John, imperial protospatharios and epi tou eidikou logou.
Commentary
The restitution of the last two words of the inscription is conjectural as there may have been an ornament on the last line, similar to the one found above the first line.
