Translation

Κύριε βοήθει Βορίλῳ προέδρῳ καὶ μεγάλῳ πρημικηρίῳ τῶν ἐθνικῶν.

Lord, help Borilos, proedros and grand primikerios of the ethnikoi.

Commentary

This is in all probability the Borilos reviled in Skylitzes continuatus as a henchman of the emperor Nikephoros III Botaneiates (1078-1081). See McGeer and Nesbitt, Byzantium in the Time of Troubles, 176-77, 189-90.
